Where are we?
Located in Rio Frio, TX, Clearwater Ranch & Resort sits along some of the deepest and clearest parts of the Frio River, offering a perfect getaway for nature lovers. Just 10 minutes from Garner State Park, our property provides breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and direct river access for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Easily accessible from Highway 83, we offer cabins, RV sites, and tent camping, making us the ideal spot for your next adventure.

With over a half-mile of private Frio River access, Clearwater Ranch & Resort offers the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. Stay in cabins, bunkhouses, or RV sites, all designed for relaxation and outdoor fun. Spend your days hiking, tubing, kayaking, fishing, and birdwatching, or explore the ranch in style—rent a golf cart from us or bring your own! Our riverfront features deep water for swimming, a rock beach that’s perfect for kids and families, and even our favorite spot in the river we call "The Bathtub", a natural spot to soak and unwind. On-site amenities include restrooms, showers, and pet-friendly accommodations, plus private bathrooms and full kitchens in every cabin, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone.
Some folks call us old school. We take that as a compliment.
